Watersports while on Anna Maria Island means wild fun for the whole family

Rent Jet-Skis
Make a splash and rent some jet-skis for a fun day out on the water. Explore either the Bay or Gulf as you cruise along. There are numerous locations on Anna Maria Island where you can rent jet skis or book a guided tour. H20 Watersportz offers tours that range from 1.5-2 hours in length and you can choose from a few different options like a Dolphin and Wildlife Tour, Sightseeing and Sunset Tour, Egmont Key Tour, or Backwater and Eco-tour around the Island.
Keep in mind that anyone born in 1988 or after is required to have a boaters license which can easily be obtained online through the company that you are renting the jet-skis from.

For those in your group that like to fish, there are lots of great fishing charters that will take you in-shore or off-shore fishing. Spend the day enjoying the water at your own speed with a boat rental. Bradenton Beach Marina offers lots of great options to choose from ranging from Pontoon boats to a Catamaran that can fit up to 30 people. Cannons Marina features numerous boat varieties to choose from whether you are looking to leisurely cruise or head out for a fishing adventure. Their booking process also includes rentals by the half or full day as well as by the week!
Take a Guided Paddleboard or Kayak Tour
An easy way to get out on the water for a more laid-back adventure is to book a tour with Kayak Jacks Paddle Sports. They offer a 2-Hour guided eco-tour or a self-guided 4-hour tour and you can choose from several different launching locations including Leffis Key on the southern end of Anna Maria Island or Robinson Preserve in Bradenton.
Take a SUP Yoga Class
If you feel like you’ve mastered your yoga moves on land, it’s time to test your skills on the water! Although you don’t have to be a master yogi to take a paddleboard yoga class with Salty Buddha Co., all levels are welcome and no experience is required.
